This is an unofficial fan interpretation of Tom’s Crossing by Mark Z. Danielewski. It follows characters and chapters so you can explore alongside your own reading.
The carved hills, vegetation, buildings, distances, and bends are imagined scenery. Gold lines show the order of a journey, not a surveyed trail. Journal notes explain where the geography is uncertain.
The atlas is being built as one reader listens to the audiobook. Character and place spellings are currently taken from audio rather than printed text, and will be refined as the site develops.
Currently, the atlas traces one character’s first three movements in Chapter One. Reading limits reset on reload. Choose only a chapter you’ve finished; later chapters are not included.
Drag to orbit, Shift-drag or right-drag to pan, and scroll to zoom. On touch screens, drag with one finger to orbit and use two fingers to pan or zoom. Select a journal entry to move the character’s piece.
